Commissions

I will be very happy to accept commissions either from an individual or a company. A commission can be a simple oil sketch or a more complex and finished work. The price will vary according to what is required.

I also accept portrait commissions. A finished portrait would usually requires two 3 hour sittings. During the first sitting the pose will be established and the composition set up. Reference photographs may be taken from which I may work on clothing details. A subsequent sitting will usually be arranged a week later, in which time the portrait will be developed and completed. Though I do prefer to work from life I can also work from photographs.
