I paint through observation plein air as weather permits .I also paint in my studio, setting up studies to explore new ways of expression. In my experience, I have found when one is deep in concentration, a glorious moment of inspiration will come. One will see the play of light and observe how it transforms ordinary subject matter into some thing magical. It is my task to transcribe what I see with the eyes and feel with the heart on to the canvas, so that in some way the viewer can share in that glorious moment. Sara Kyne 2009
